This coffee is sourced from the Ruhororo Commune in the Ngozi province of Buyenzi Burundi. Specifically this coffee comes from the Rimiro washing station that manages processing for over 1700 farmers who care for over 500,000 coffee trees. Coffee is becoming one Burundis largest exports. The coffees from the Rimiro washing station are all FULLY WASHED and sun dried on raised beds to promote even drying. Coffees are milled at the Budeca dry mill before being bagged and exported.
This cup is generally on the bright side, with a grapefruit like sharpness that makes it a great first coffee of the day kinda cup. Its flavor profile though bright has lovely soft edges that we taste peach and sugar covered rhubarb in.
The coffee is for those that enjoy bright but balanced coffees.
