Naranjo is the second largest Province in Costa Rica and home to some of the country's finest coffee. . In 2015 husband and wife Fernando and Angie Altmann invested in land to start growing coffee. In 2018, they started to take more care of their land and realized that an increased attention to the detail and processing would allow them to produce a much better coffee to share with the International market. They decided to name their estate after Gaia (a Greek deity known to be the ancestral mother of all life) to promote the importance and celebration of the environment.
This offering is naturally processed meaning the bean (seed) was dried inside of the fruit so expect body, sweetness and prominent fruit flavors.
We get strawberries right off the bat with a cane sugar sweetness. The body is full and the mouthfeel syrupy like a cabernet sauvignon.
As this is a microlot this is a limited offering.
Deep and Sweet this coffee brings the bam bam. Take it away sister...
